01

Getting started

Distill needs access to your photo library to show your photos. Allow access when asked. If you tapped Not Now, or chose Limited Access, open the iPhone Settings app > Privacy & Security > Photos > Distill and choose Full Access to review your whole library.

02

Deleting photos

Swiping left only moves an item to Distill's Trash. Nothing is removed from your library until you empty the Trash and confirm in the iOS dialog.

After that, iOS keeps deleted items in the Recently Deleted album of the Photos app for about 30 days, so you can still recover them there.

03

iCloud Photos

If you use iCloud Photos, deleting a photo on your iPhone deletes it on all your devices and on iCloud too. The space you free depends on whether the original is stored on the device or only in iCloud.

04

Privacy

Everything happens on your iPhone. Distill has no account and never uploads your photos or videos. Read the full Privacy Policy.

05

Free, no subscription

Distill is free, with no paywall and no ads. If it helped you, a rating on the App Store helps other people find it.
